Jewelry Info & Care
Most of our jewelry is made of gold, rose gold or silver-plated metal alloy (brass/copper), which is lead, chromium and nickel-free (excluding stainless steel). Like most metals (including .925 sterling silver), they can tarnish and discolor overtime.
To help delay tarnish, it’s best to avoid moist or wet conditions, such as while showering, taking a bath, swimming or during a sweaty workout. When you are not wearing your jewelry, it is best to store it in an airtight bag to help prevent tarnishing.
TIP: The best way to remove tarnish and get your jewelry shiny again, is to scrub lightly with soft toothpaste and a toothbrush, rinse with water and dry thoroughly immediately afterwards. (Note: Avoid using abrasives (i.e. toothpaste) on stainless steel pieces.)
Cleaning Tips:
- Use a soft, lint-free cloth to gently wipe your jewelry.
- For deeper cleaning, lightly dampen the cloth with water (no harsh chemicals).
- Avoid ultrasonic cleaners or abrasive materials, especially for plated or delicate pieces.
Longevity Tips:
- Handle charms, chains, and delicate pieces gently to avoid bending or breaking.
- Layering is fine, but avoid rough surfaces to reduce scratches.
- Regular care helps keep your jewelry looking beautiful for years to come.
